Elmo Joseph Sr. Dies in Georgia

There will be a Home Going Service for Elmo Joseph Sr. who died Dec. 6 in Atlanta, Ga.

The first viewing will be held on Friday, Jan. 12, at Turnbull’s Funeral Home. The second viewing will take place on Saturday, Jan. 13, at Kingdom Life Church in Altona. The viewing will be held from 9 to 10 a.m., with the service to follow at 10 a.m. Interment will be at Eastern Cemetery, Smith Bay.

Elmo Joseph is survived by his wife, Carren Joseph; children: Vanessa L. Joseph, Shiekima Joseph-Dwight and Elmo Joseph Jr.; son-in-law, Dean Dwight; daughter-in-law, Se-Ann Joseph; and grandchildren: Monesha Brooks-Webster, Mark Buckland Jr., Evan-Tyler Petersen, Teyah Bartlette, Tavoria Bartlette, Elmo Joseph III and Hailey Joseph; grandson-in-law: Kasieam Webster.

He is also survived by great-grandchildren: Kaymiah Webster and Destiny Webster; sisters: Eleanor Hughes, Ena Smith, Era Joseph; brother, Everett “Billy” Innis; sisters-in-law: Rita Leibert, Alice George-Turnbull, Doris George, Avis George, Jennifer Christopher and Esther James; brothers-in-law, Llewellyn Leibert and Eliston George; best friend, James Nibbs Sr.; and many more families and friend too numerous to mention.
