Fee Free Days at Trunk Bay September 27 and 28

In honor of Public Lands Day, and to recognize newly naturalized citizens, Saturday and Sunday, September 27 and 28, have been declared Fee Free Days at Trunk Bay Beach, announced Virgin Islands National Park Superintendent Mark Hardgrove. Photo by Caroline Rogers.

A clean-up campaign targeting the VINP is scheduled for Saturday, followed by a picnic lunch at 1:00 p.m. at Trunk Bay for volunteers.
The picnic will include face-painting for kids, interpretive ranger-led guided snorkel trips and general information about the VINP
Interpretive rangers will also provide guided snorkel trips on Sunday, the day set aside to recognize newly naturalized citizens, beginning at 12:00 p.m.
Anyone interested in the guided snorkel trips is asked to please call 776-6201, ext. 238 to sign up.  Trunk Bay is one of the most visited beaches on St. John, and is home to an underwater trail.
