Friday: Mostly Sunny With One or Two Isolated Showers

One or two morning showers may affect the Virgin Islands today, and some hit or miss shower activity cannot be ruled out for this afternoon. Measurable rainfall is however unlikely. Winds will remain from the east to the east-southeast with high temperatures topping out in the mid to upper 80s.

Tranquil marine conditions are expected during the next few days with seas to five feet in the local Atlantic waters and to four feet in the Caribbean waters. Winds will average 10-15 knots (12-17 miles per hour).

There is a moderate risk of rip currents for the northern beaches of St. Croix, and along the northwest tip of St. Thomas.
