Detectives from the V.I. Police Department on Thursday arrested 33-year-old Daisy Urena of Brooklyn, New York, on a charge of being a fugitive from justice.
Customs & Border Protection officer detained Urena at 4:30 p.m. Thursday and turned her over to the VIPD on an arrest warrant from the state of Illinois.
She was jailed without bail, pending her extradition hearing.
