He is also survived by many loving and caring nieces, great-nieces, nephews, great-nephews, cousins, neighbors and a host of friends, colleagues and satisfied customers.

Funeral Service will be held at Bethel Methodist Church in Estate Two Brothers (overlooking the seaside, heading towards Dorsch Beach), on Friday, May 26. The viewing and tributes will be at 9 a.m. and the service at 10 a.m.  Interment will be in the Frederiksted Cemetery.

For those who may wish to contribute other than flowers, his family kindly requests that you consider a memorial donation, in his honor, to the Bethel Methodist Church’s Outreach Meals on Wheels Program, an organization which he supported.   Checks or money orders may be made payable to: Bethel Methodist Church – with a memo of such — and mailed to P. O. Box 5974, Christiansted, VI 00823 or dropped off at the James Memorial Funeral Home.

The family graciously thanks everyone who continues to express love and show support during this unexpected passing of our beloved George, “Fred,” “Scott,” “Afro” and “the Gutter Man.”  We wish to extend special thanks to St. Croix Cancer Specialists and Continuum Care for their professional services.  May his soul repose in eternal peace.
