Services were held on Saturday, March 1, for Gertrude St. Brice, 77, who died on February 19, 2008, at Schneider Regional Medical Center.
The viewing was at 10 a.m. at Mt. Carmel Catholic Church followed by the funeral at 11 a.m. Burial was in Cruz Bay Cemetery.
She is survived by her husband, Nacis St. Brice; daughters, Celina Ashly, Monica Smith and Una, Andrea and Ethna Ferguson; sons, George and William Ferugson; brothers, Joseph, Leo and Francis Burton; sister, Justine Ferdinand; grandchildren, Anthony, Hyacinth, Desmond and Vicky Ashly, Geneita Abraham, Peter and Mason Ferguson, Brenda, Hensley, Shauna and Lance Sonson, Editha Kahriah, Alfred, Troy, Natalie, Zandra and Leotitia Ferguson, Maxensha and Ian Ferguson, Denver, Valentine and Cassandra Ferguson and Janelle Rosado; daughter-in-law, Agatha Ferguson; son-in-law, Arthur Hercules; 29 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; family friend Alphonse Ashly and many other relatives and friends.
