Get Up, Get Out and Vote!

Supervisor of Elections Caroline F. Fawkes states: “Can you believe it? Today, Tuesday, Nov. 6, is Election Day! We know we can count on you to hit the polls (and a big round of applause if you’ve voted early), but we need your help in encouraging people you know to do the same.

Here’s what you can do:
1. Get smart about the candidates.
2. Find out which of the people on the ballot share your values.
3. Find your polling place – and help your friends do the same.
4. Contact the Election System Offices if you are unsure.

Ask five people you know to cast their ballots, too. The reality is peer pressure works. Stay positive, remind your friends and family that this election is important, and – if you’re feeling extra generous – offer them a ride to the polls.

Thanks to people like you, who will make their voices heard during this 2018.

Thanks again for doing your civic duty! There’s nothing more important.”
