This green sea turtle was hit by a boat and found floating near the off-shore buoys at Hawksnest Bay about three weeks ago.
Beach-goers pulled the turtle to shore and waited for V.I. National Park officials, who arrived about 30 minutes later, wrapped the turtle in a blue tarp and took it with them, according to Kris Bennett, who was on the beach.
