Guillaume Joseph, also known as “Brother Gee,” of Estate Whim Garden died on Feb. 1. He was 73 years old.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Adelaide James; and father, Degrate Joseph.
He is survived by his daughters: Marie Pascal, Suzette Pascal, Lysa Esnard (adopted) and Sharon Joseph (adopted); sons: Jonathan Charlouis, Christopher Charlouis, Rick Clifford, Lynch Thornille and Craig Joseph (adopted); 12 grandchildren; sister, Evarista Samson; and brothers: Dominique James, George Louis Joseph and Leonce Joseph.
He is also survived by nieces: Beatrice Susan James, Sheervone James, Evelyne Samson, Justin St. Luce and Theresa Joseph; nephews: Ian James, Joseph Samson Jr, Narcarro Samson and Christopher Lennie; great nieces: Elayna P. Joseph, Jai Samson and Naavah Samson; great nephews: Nacarro Samson Jr. and Nazir Samson; and other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
Special thanks go out to Myra Wilkinson, Patsy Haywood and the Whim Garden family, Heavenly Home Staff, The Virgin Islands Fire and Emergency Rescue Service and Lew Muckle Elementary School family.
There will be a viewing at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 10 a.m., Friday, March 1, at St. Ann’s Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Kingshill Cemetery.
