To the St. John Community,
We at Skinny Legs would like to extend a huge, heart-felt thank you for our generous support of our recent fundraiser which benefitted the Guy Benjamin School in Coral Bay.
The June 3rd Family Fun Day and celebration of National Burger Day at Skinny Legs was a great success because of the generosity of the community. All proceeds from the food, games, drinks, and raffle tickets went to the Guy Benjamin School.
Children of all ages enjoyed games such as coconut bowling, football toss, balloon darts, and sack races. Our “Skinny Legs Super Soaker” which featured local celebrities and residents alike getting soaked with water from an overhead balloon when participants hit a target, was highly successful.
Students, teachers, and volunteers joined together to make the day an event to remember while raising much needed funds for the Guy Benjamin School.
In total, we raised more than $8,000 for the public elementary school. Principal Dionne Wells has identified several needs including a freezer for the cafeteria and books and supplies for the classrooms.
The Skinny Legs Family Fun Day would not have been possible without your generosity. On behalf of the entire Skinny Legs family, we thank you for your participation in this worthwhile and importnant fundraiser.
