UPDATED: Homicide Occurs in Bovoni

Contact has been made with the next of Kin who positively identified the male victim as 43-old-year old Darryl T. Jenning.

On Thursday, April 28, 2022, another homicide occurred in St. Thomas. At approximately 8.56 p.m., a St. Thomas community member called 911 and reported that shots had been fired in the Bovoni area, in the vicinity of The Superette.

When the officers arrived, they found an unresponsive black male. The male was taken to the Schneider Regional Medical Center for medical treatment. The male appeared to have sustained several gunshot wounds about his body.

The identity of the male is unknown at this time, pending notification of next of kin. According to the Source Homicide List, this is the fifth homicide on St. Thomas and the 12th in the territory since the beginning of the year.
