A crowd dressed to the nines filled the Caneel Bay Resort beachside dining room for the 14th Annual Julius E. Sprauve School Gala on Saturday night, April 16.
Between live and silent auctions raising funds for an elementary playground and fitness center at the Cruz Bay public school, students showed off their dancing and musical talents — performing both live and in a recorded segment for the crowd.
Celebrity waiters and waitresses included Lt. Governor Gregory Francis and his wife Cheryl Francis, Delegate to Congress Donna Christensen, Senator at Large Craig Barshinger and Senator Patrick Simeon Sprauve. JESS principal Mario Francis, vice principal Brenda Dalmida and Caneel Bay’s Managing Director Nikolay Hotze greeted guests and emcee Ronnie Klingsberg ran an exciting live auction.
