Local John Maxwell Team members Jacklyn Ruan and Donnalie Edwards-Cabey, along with Chris Robinson, faculty president of the John Maxwell Team, and Walter Finnigan, the Global Youth Initiative (GYI) assistant coordinator, will host several special events during Oct. 26-31.
These special events will see the rebroadcast of “Live 2 Lead 2018,” featuring presenters Tyler Perry, Carly Fiorina, Daniel Pink, Debra Searle and John C. Maxwell. The Live 2 Lead event will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Friday, Oct. 26, at the Herbert E. Lockhart Parish Hall, St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church Complex, No. 31 1st Avenue Sugar Estate, St. Thomas.
The event will include a networking lunch, live leadership teaching sessions by Robinson and Finnigan as well as an interactive breakout session playing the Leadership Game. Jenny Hawkes, executive director of My Brother’s Workshop (MBW), will also make a presentation. Community leaders, business owners, professionals and persons interested in developing their personal and professional leadership are invited to attend Live 2 Lead on Friday.
While in the territory visiting, John Maxwell personnel will also support local John Maxwell Team members as they host several Global Youth Initiative (GYI) sessions in several schools on St. Thomas and St. John, (CAHS and Julius Sprauve schools) during the period Oct. 27-31. They will also host special leadership development sessions for students of UVI’s University Bound Program, the Civil Air Patrol Youth Group as well as the Boys and Girls Club of St. Thomas and Youth of the St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church.
