Joyce Graves died at her home of 22 years in Exeter, New Hampshire, with her family by her side after a short battle with bladder cancer on October 16, 2007.
She was born to Bruce and Margaret Pollack in Malden, Massachusetts on October 4, 1943. Joyce was a graduate of Exeter High School and had an associate’s degree in business from Northern Essex. She worked as an interior design specialist through most of her career.
Her love for travel led Joyce and husband of 22 years, Bob Graves, to the island of St. John where they resided annually from November through May. Joyce was known for her green thumb and had gorgeous lawns and water gardens to prove it. She loved any outdoor activities including camping, sunbathing and swimming.
She is survived by spouse Robert Graves, daughter Jennifer Gannett Sudak, sister Judy Wilson and many loved family members and friends. Services were held Saturday, October 20, at Brewitts Funeral Home in Exeter. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Rockingham Hospice, 137 Epping, 03833.
