Kahlil “Kahlif” Henley, Suspect in the Caret Bay Assault Arrested

V.I. police say Kahlil Henley, also known as Kahlif Henley, was taken into custody Thursday around 3 p.m. as a suspect in an assault that occurred on Sunday, April 10 in the Lindberg Bay area.

According to police, the victim had contusions and fractures to the head and face and was taken to Roy L. Schneider Regional Medical Center by ambulance. They were hospitalized for several days due to the severity of his injuries and released pending further medical attention.

47-year-old Henley was charged with assault 1st, assault 3rd, mayhem, simple assault, and disturbance of the peace. Bail was set at $75,000.00 by order of the Magistrate Court of the Virgin Islands. Kahlil Henley was turned over to the Bureau of Corrections pending his advice of right hearing.
