Leopold Gittens Jr. of Estate Hannah’s Rest died on Jan. 9.
He is survived by his companion, Patricia Williams; daughters: Herminia Knatasha Gittens, Daniella Caprice Gittens and Trisha Williams; sons: Jalon Gittens, Leopold Gittens III and Harold Francis; sister, Ancilla Gittens; brothers: Vincent, James, Humberto, Osvaldo and Kenneth Gittens; grandchildren: Christopher Edwards, Marcel and Elijah Zachary, Jaslyn Francis, T’Naiah Rawlins and Tenesha Harding; and sisters-in-law: Doris, Carol, Vonda, Seneyda Gittens, Merissa Williams, Letitia Hurley, Ophelia “Nemmy” Jackson, Bridgette Williams and Natasha Williams-Modeste.
He is also survived by brothers-in-law: Ray Harris and Galen Williams; nieces: Shantelle, Tiffany, Brittany, Adrianne, Leah, Bianca, Destinee,
Iyana and Wrenne Gittens; nephews: Coman, Eric, Trevor, Humberto Jr., Christopher Tindal, Indi Eugene, Raheem and Ramar Smart, Bianca Lake and Cardinal Dames; special friends: Dawn Bruce, the Bruce family, Charles family, Reobuck family and McIntosh family; as well as other family and friends too numerous to mention.
A viewing will begin at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 10 a.m., Monday, Jan. 27, at St. Luke A.M.E. Church. Interment will be at Frederiksted Cemetery.
