Louisa Noami Roberts Dies at 100

Louisa Noami Roberts

Louisa Noami Roberts, also known as “Mudds,” of Flamboyant Garden died on Saturday, Aug. 15. She was 100 years old.

She was preceded in death by her spouse, Doston Roberts; mother, Sophia Emanuel; father, Joseph Adams; daughters: Joslyn Lewis, Robertine Castello and Donna McKenny; grandchildren: Shaun Lewis, Sylvia Byrd and Troy Roberts; and son-in-law, Reggie.

She is survived by her daughter, Renetha Wilson; sons: Stephen Roberts Sr. and Oneal Roberts; grandchildren: Joseph Lewis, Patrick Lewis, Jermone Lewis, Ishmael Lewis, Cicely Peleon, Stephen Roberts Jr., Raymond Roberts, Rohan Roberts, Joslyn Irish, Sharon Castello, Florence Castello, Winfield Castello Jr. and Herman Castello; 30 great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; daughters-in-law: Gertrude and Gwendolyn; sons-in-law: Harris, Winfield and Earl; as well as other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.

The viewing will begin at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 10 a.m., Sunday, Sept 6, at James Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Kingshill Cemetery. The family respectfully requests that attendees wear a face mask and adhere to the social distancing requirements.
