Mango Melee Draws a Crowd to the Garden

Thousands of people young and old flocked to the St. George Village Botanical Gardens Sunday for the ever-popular Mango Melee.

There’s something for everyone at Mango Melee – from displays of the mangos and other tropical fruit, to the Mango Dis, Mango Dat cooking competition and the Little Miss Mango Melee and Senior Miss Mango Melee contest, to the crowd-pleasing, no-holds-barred excitement of the mango-eating contest.
