Mini Film Festival Seeks Submissions; Deadline Changed to Feb. 15

Local filmmakers, would be filmmakers and video artists are invited to submit short videos to the Mini Film Festival that will be held during the St. John Arts Festival.

Artists/filmmakers Janet Cook-Rutnik and Sigi Torinus will host the 3rd VIP (Virgin Islands Productions) Mini Film Festival at 7:30 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 20, at the St. John School of the Arts in Cruz Bay. The festival is partnering with Frank Langley from the St. John Arts Festival, and filmmaker Andrea Leland, director of the St. John Film Society.

The festival will be held during the week of the St. John Arts Festival at the St. John School of the Arts.  Submit videos no later than Feb. 15. The required format: .mov with H264 compression or .mp4 via Dropbox or We Transfer (use links below):

Include your name, telephone/cell numbers, email address, title and length of work, credits and any other pertinent information.

A notice will be sent out immediately regarding the selections. There will be a question and answer period after the screening on Feb. 20 for the filmmakers to talk briefly about their work.
