Multiple Firearms and Ammunition Discovered in Estate Nadir

Multiple firearms and ammunition were discovered on St. Thomas when officers responded to shots being fired Estate Nadir, the V.I. Police Department reported.

On Tuesday, around 6:29 p.m., Operation Re-establish taskforce officers were dispatched to Estate Nadir in reference to shots being fired. When officers arrived on scene, an inspection was conducted in the general area and 11 spent casings were found, according to the police report. 

An extended search of the area resulted in the finding of one Glock Gen 4, 40 caliber pistol with an obliterated serial number, a small white bag with multiple loose rounds, one fifteen-round Glock magazine filled to capacity, and three Generic magazines with ammunition, the police report stated. 

The men and women of VIPD are committed to keeping the community safe and getting firearms off the streets, according to the release.
