Multiple robberies that took place in downtown St. Thomas are currently under investigation, the V.I. Police Department reported Friday.
VIPD reminds the community that reporting incidents to law enforcement authorities as soon as possible is important. Reporting the incidents helps in the investigation process, according to the department.

During a robbery, follow the robber’s directions, remain calm, don’t resist, take mental notes of the robber’s appearance, and immediately call 911 and go to a safe location to report the crime.

If you opt to remain at the crime scene, try not to touch anything.
