Naomi Elaine Sam of Estate Herman Hill died on Dec. 27. She was 73 years old.
She is survived by her husband, Edward Sam; daughter, Sonia Clarke; sons: Wayne Sam and Webster Sam; grandchildren: Samantha Clarke, Shaylee Sam, Rayleen Sam, Dominick Sam, Corey Sam, Sirena Sam and Kaylynn Sam; great- grandchild, Summer Butler; sisters: Glenda Emmons, Gloria Wilkins and Hazel Bracken; brother, Leone Connell; and nieces: Yvonne Martin, Veronica Martin, Melissa Jeffers, Caroline Wilkins and Ellen Emmons.
She is also survived by nephews: Joey Martin, Zeall Augustus, Garry Emmons and Ronie Emmons; daughters-in-law: Heather Sam and Dana Sam; son-in-law, Jefferson Clarke; brothers-in-law: Enos Emmons, Allan Sam and Leonard Sam; sisters-in-law: Isola John, Estina Keir and Espranza Connell; as well as other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
A viewing will take place at 9:30 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, Jan. 15, at Church of God of Holiness.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and public health regulations, all attendees must wear a mask and adhere to social distancing guidelines.
