The Governor’s Office of Gun Violence Prevention, in collaboration with The Virgin Islands Department of Education and the Virgin Islands Police Department, will kick off its Anti-Violence Public Service Announcement Campaign on Thursday, Sept. 7.

The public service announcements will be informative and will hopefully influence people to think before they react and evaluate the CDCs of life: Choices, Decisions and Consequences.

Each public high school in the territory will have its own banner to help build pride and create a safe school zone while at the same time denouncing alcohol, drugs, weapons, violence of any kind, and bullying, with a no-tolerance approach to illegal activity.

The campaign will begin at 9:30 a.m., Thursday, Sept. 7, at Charlotte Amalie High School on St. Thomas.
