Parrots in Paradise

Yellow Amazon parrots, above.

The offspring of a pair of Yellow Amazon parrots kept on Moorhead Point as pets are seen daily sampling the wares of the numerous mango and fruit trees in the Cruz Bay area. Residents and visitors can catch a glimpse of the the lime green birds with bright yellow breasts and a red patch on their wings most mornings near the Elaine I. Sprauve Library. Communicating with their loud raucous call, as many as five parrots have been seen at once.
