Pastor Edward F. Magras Dies at 81

The family of Pastor Edward F. Magras regrets to announce his passing on July 10, at the age of 81.

Pastor Magras worked for the Government of the Virgin Islands for 30 years and is the founder of the Frenchtown Evangelistic Assembly.

He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Jalma Magras; daughter, Claudette Magras-Greaux; son, Michael J. Magras; grandchildren: Claudia Greaux and Gregory Greaux; brothers: Harry Magras, Gene Magras and Roy Kenneth Magras; in-laws: Florie Magras, Beverly Magras, Jean and Evelyn Bernier, Joe and Therese Felix, Florville and Emilienne Bernier, Guy and Raymonde Bernier, Maryze Charlezia, and Edouard and Georgette Bernier; best friends: Peter Philip and Joe Kelly; and many other family and friends too numerous to mention.

Wreaths may be purchased from and written tributes submitted directly to the funeral home no later than July 20. Donations may also be made to the American Cancer Society.

In light of the coronavirus pandemic, private funeral services will be restricted to family, close friends and colleagues.
