Paternity and Child Support Is Upgrading Territorial Automated Reporting System

V.I. Department of Human Services

Director Terrence D. Joseph informs the general public and, in particular, clients of the Paternity and Child Support Division, that the Child Support Territorial Automated Reporting System (CSTARS) is currently offline as the division continues the ongoing upgrade and modernization project.

Because the Paternity and Child Support Division (PCSD) is in the early stages of modernization, it continues to experience challenges, which are part of the process.  While challenges are unforeseen, they provide opportunities for improvement.  The division is making efforts to minimize outages and the impact on clients as it moves towards 100 percent efficiency.

Joseph assures the public that PCSD continues to work toward resolution and fully restore CSTARS in the swiftest time possible.  The public will be immediately notified in a subsequent announcement when the Child Support Territorial Automated Reporting System (CSTARS) application is back online.

Director Joseph and PCSD regret the inconvenience that this system outage has caused and thank the affected families in our community who depend on PCSD services for their patience as we vigorously continue to restore services.
