Children and their parents flocked to Fort Frederik Saturday to play and learn at the Children’s Museum of St. Croix’s celebration of the Worldwide Day of Play. Activities for toddlers to teens included creating art with light, markers, paint, wood, bubbles and more.
“We hope they’re having fun. I think they don’t realize they’re learning. When they mix two colors, they’re learning. They’re learning while they interact with the different materials. They are also learning things like balance when they play,” Ellie Hirsh, museum board member, said.
