Residents, visitors and holiday shoppers made a night of it at the Mongoose Junction Shopping Center on St. John on Black Friday. Gift shops, boutiques, bars and restaurants kept the lights on well into the night despite sporadic power outages.
Steel pan players in singles and in groups kept spirits bright throughout the evening. Love City Pan Dragon Dax Chouiniere gave a solo performance near the entrance of North Shore Deli.

In between, there was time to sit and relax with libations set to flow through midnight.
