Supporters of the Christensen-Ottley gubernatorial ticket held down their candidates’ station outside the primary polls at Julius E. Sprauve School this morning and afternoon, August 2 — literally — as gusty winds and heavy bands of rain from a passing tropical storm failed to postpone the vote but held down turnout.
