Reggae Legends Steel Pulse Set To Rock Love City Live! Main Event on Jan. 26

Grammy Award-winning reggae band Steel Pulse is set to headline the highly-anticipated Love City Live! 2013 main event concert scheduled for Saturday, January 26, at the Winston Wells ball field in Cruz Bay.

During the festival-like extravaganza, Steel Pulse will perform their smash hits “Roller Skates,” “Leggo Beast,” “Chant a Psalm,” “Raid Roots Dance,” and “Your House,” along with fan favorites from the band’s extensive catalog.

Joining the musical giants on the Boyson, Inc soundstage will be reggae crooner Duane Stephenson performing his international hits “Cottage in Negril” and “August Town,” along with rising St. Croix reggae sensation Reemah and Love City’s very own Inner Visions Band.

Love City Live! 2013 (January 24 to January 27) is a four-day culture-fused celebration showcasing Caribbean art, cuisine, music and lifestyle.

The excitement begins Thursday, January 24, with “Lime 101,” an art, food and rum experience, and continues on Friday, January 25, with “Strictly Rockers” reggae party.

The action intensifies on Saturday, January 26, with the main event concert featuring Steel Pulse. Love City Live! then caps off the weekend in true St. John style with “The Ultimate PowerBoat Party” on White Bay, Jost Van Dyke.

Since its inception, Love City Live! has been supported by premium presenting sponsor Boyson, Inc and platinum sponsor Innovative Communications.

This year’s event boast the additional support of  USVI Department of Tourism, TV2, St. John Ultimate Villas, Cool Breeze Jeep Rental, Caribbean Seashell Villas, Digitak Film company, 104.3 The Buzz and Road Town Wholesale BVI, which sponsored the powerboat party.
