Lt. Gov. Tregenza A. Roach Esq. notifies the public of the temporary closures of the Passport Acceptance Facilities in the St. Thomas / St. John District and the St. Croix District. The closures are necessary to facilitate the annual review by the San Juan Passport Agency.
- On Wednesday, March 8, Passport Acceptance Facilities within the territory will be closed.
- Regular business hours for the St. Croix facility will resume on Thursday, March 9, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Service will be provided by appointment only.
- On Thursday, March 9, the Passport Acceptance Facility on St. Thomas will only be open from 9 a.m. to noon and closed on Friday, March 10, for employee training.
- Regular business hours for the St. Thomas facility will resume on Monday, March 13, from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Customers are asked to continue to practice social distancing in observance of COVID-19 protocols at the Office of the Lieutenant Governor. Further, while it is no longer mandatory that masks are worn in public places, customers are encouraged to wear a mask when they are in close proximity to other persons.
