Roach Notifies Public of Temporary Closures of Passport Acceptance Facilities

Lt. Gov. Tregenza A. Roach Esq. notifies the public of the temporary closures of the Passport Acceptance Facilities in the St. Thomas / St. John District and the St. Croix District. The closures are necessary to facilitate the annual review by the San Juan Passport Agency.

  • On Wednesday, March 8, Passport Acceptance Facilities within the territory will be closed.
  • Regular business hours for the St. Croix facility will resume on Thursday, March 9, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Service will be provided by appointment only.
  • On Thursday, March 9, the Passport Acceptance Facility on St. Thomas will only be open from 9 a.m. to noon and closed on Friday, March 10, for employee training.
  • Regular business hours for the St. Thomas facility will resume on Monday, March 13, from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Customers are asked to continue to practice social distancing in observance of COVID-19 protocols at the Office of the Lieutenant Governor.  Further, while it is no longer mandatory that masks are worn in public places, customers are encouraged to wear a mask when they are in close proximity to other persons.
