Roland Krigger Sr.

Roland Krigger has died.

He was preceded in death by his father, Ernest Krigger; mother, Idalia Henley Krigger; and sisters:  Bereynese Rivera, Carmen Webster and Judith Krigger.

He is survived by his wife and life partner, Avis Edmead Krigger; children: Roland Krigger Jr., Rakisha Krigger-Donadelle, Kamari Krigger and Kasiem Krigger; son-in-law: Keryn B. Donadelle, Sr.; and grandchildren: Ronelle A. Krigger, Ronequa A. Krigger, Romare Toussaint, Jae’den Krigger, Kasani Krigger, Ke’Nai A. Donadelle and Keryn B. Donadelle Jr.

He is also survived by great-grandchildren: O’Leisia Baptiste and Rae’ Leiah Baptiste; brothers: Ronald Krigger and Ernest Krigger; and sisters: Lorecia Krigger-Stephens, Ruth Krigger-Thomas, Shirley Krigger-Wallace, Michelle Krigger and Patricia Krigger; and brothers-in-law: Lemuel Edmead, Mervin Edmead, Norris Edmead, James “Chop- Chop” Stephens and Theodore “Teddy” Thomas.

Other survivors include sisters-in-law: Maudgena Edmead, Gwendolyn Edmead, Ermine Edmead, Melonie Edmead-Woods, Ementine Edmead, Thelma Edmead and Angela Krigger; godmother and cousin. Doreen Sewer Fields; nephews, nieces, cousins, extended family and friends too numerous to mention; and members of the Charlotte Amalie High School Class of 1976.

The viewing will be held from 9-10 a.m., followed by a funeral service at 10 a.m., Friday, March 1, at Christ Church Methodist. Interment will be at Eastern Cemetery.
