Roy Mahoney Jr. died on Tuesday, May 23, on St. Thomas, United States Virgin Islands, at the age of 82.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Roy and Eulalie Mahoney; and brothers: Franklin Mahoney Sr. and Danet Mahoney.
He is survived by his:
Children: Roy Mahoney III, Debra Mahoney and Jacquelyn Mahoney
Daughter-in-law: Charlene Mahoney
Grandchildren: Dallas, Rylen, Brielle, Gannon Mahoney and Carolyn Phillips
Sisters: Bernice Boynes, Edna Roebuck, Sylvia Ross, Betty Mahoney, Jenice Van Heyningan and Patricia Norma Mahoney.
Brother: Joma Mahoney

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral service at Holy Family Catholic Church. The viewing will take place from 9:30 – 10:30 a.m. followed by a service at 10:30 a.m., Friday, June 23. Interment will be at Eastern Cemetery, Smith Bay.
