Seven men’s teams and four women’s teams are seeking to dethrone the defending champions of the Annual Labor Day Volleyball Tournament, held at the Digna Wheatley Gymnasium on the campus of Ivanna Eudora Kean High School from Thursday to Sunday.
Brothers are the defending champions in the men’s division. They will have to work to retain their crown as teams from St. Thomas, St. Croix, the British Virgin Islands, and Orlando, Florida, will be hunting to take their crown.
“This should be one of the most competitive competitions we have ever had, especially in the men’s division,” said Tournament Director Tabari Williams in an interview. Hit List is the team from the BVI. Dirty Cowboys is the team flying in from Orlando, Florida. The other five teams are local teams from the United States Virgin Islands.

Sacale has dominated the women’s tournament. They have won multiple titles and are poised to repeat once again. Four other women’s teams, all from St. Thomas, will do their best to pull off the outset of the tournament.
The tournament organizers would like to express appreciation to the West Indian Company, the Sports, Parks, and Recreation Department, the Education Department, and TK Sports.
The 6th Annual Labor Day Volleyball Tournament will begin on Thursday with four matches.
