Samuel Jeremiah Ottley, affectionately known as “Jerry,” died on March 17. He was 79 years old.
Samuel J. Ottley is survived by his wife, Pauline J. Diaz Ottley; sons: Samuel Ottley Jr., Gerry Ottley and Craig Hendricks; daughters: Diana, Connie, Sharnel, Zonelle Ottley and Eboni Ottley-Turnbull; daughter-in-law, Tanja Ottley; sister, Margaret Richardson; brother, Steven Ottley; 18 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; 10 step-grandchildren; step-daughters: Cicely Frett and Celine Huggins; one step-son, Dalton Frett; as well as other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the viewing at 10 a.m. with service to follow at 11 a.m., Friday, April 5, at All Saints Cathedral Church. Interment will be at the Eastern Cemetery.
Funeral arrangements are under the care of Dan Hurley Home for Funerals and Cremation Centers of St. Thomas, St. John and St. Croix.
