Crime Stoppers needs Virgin Islanders to say something when they have knowledge of a crime.

On Wednesday, June 24, 2015, at around 6:42 p.m. St. Croix Police Officers responded to a call of shots fired on Queen Mary Highway (Center Line Road) in the vicinity of Estates St. George and Diamond. Upon arrival at the scene, they discovered a white-colored Honda Civic with a bullet hole in the passenger side window. The vehicle had struck a tree and came to a halt west of Bellows International. The driver of the vehicle was identified as Dave Edwards of Estate Whim, who was found unresponsive and later pronounced dead.

At approximately 7:39 p.m. on Thursday, August 18, 2016, St. Thomas Police responded to reports of shots fired in the vicinity of Emancipation Garden by the fire station. A preliminary investigation conducted by officers on the scene revealed that the victim, a  firefighter identified as Gregory Louis, was sitting outside on a bench when an unknown suspect shot him in the back of his head.
