Sen. Athneil “Bobby” Thomas has canceled the Committee on Government Operations, Consumer and Veterans Affairs’ hearing that was scheduled for Thursday, Feb. 21, citing a request from the director nominee of the Bureau of Motor Vehicles (BMV).
The committee has a previously scheduled hearing for Friday, March 1, at which time they will hear from the Virgin Islands Waste Management Authority and the Virgin Islands Water and Power Authority. Because BMV opted not to appear for the Feb. 21st meeting, Sen. Thomas has added the agency to the March 1st agenda.
