Senator Lloyd L. Williams Dies

Senator Lloyd L. Williams died on Thursday, Oct. 5.

He is survived by his wife, Minister Irene C. Williams; daughters: Lisa (Rickie) Norman and Taya Leonard; grandchildren: Matai Leonard and Zaiden Norman; special children and grandchildren: Vernell Stevens, Tameka Francis, I’vanya Hobson, Kyle Carty and Klarissa Carty; sister, Trecia Isaac; brothers: Bernard Williams and Keith (Rose) Nicholsen; and aunts: Carmen Sibilly, Ursula (Danny) Isaac, Jean Gibbs and Marion (Leopold) Sprauve.

He is also survived by nephews: Lorn (Rose), Lloyd (Katie), Bernard Jr. (Marlo), Keith (Iron), Lloyd, Kurt, Shawn and Keith Jr; nieces: LaVerne, Laurie, Laura, Pasha, Pashima, Shelma, Kahlea and Bernadine; Members of the Nicholsen, Williams, Isaac, Sprauve, Gibbs, Sibilly, Jones, Richards, Husband, DeGraff, Dossett (Dorsett), Lewis, Reynolds, Morris, Wallace, Dorbeck, Thompson, Fredericks, Newton and DeWindt families; as well as many other beloved relatives and friends.

Relatives and friends are respectfully requested to join the family at The Celebration of Life, which will be held from 8-10 a.m., Wednesday, Nov. 1, at the Charlotte Amalie High School Auditorium followed with a funeral service immediately following. The interment will be at the Eastern Cemetery, Smith Bay.
