Sheryl Antoinette Mason of Estate Whim, Frederiksted, died on Dec. 31, 2023. She was 61 years old.
She was preceded in death by her father, Steve Mason; brother, Safron Mason; aunts: Hyacinth Joseph, Marilyn Benjamin, Eloise Mason and Agatha Benjamin; and uncles: Walcott Benjamin and Erfield Mason;
She is survived by her companion: Greg “Chico” Miller; mother, Evelyn Mason; stepdaughter, Alixas Miller; son, Setorie Nelson; sister, Shirlene Tyree Mason; brothers: Steve Mason and Swain Mason; nieces: Shania Mason, Jaedyn Tyree, Briahna Tyree, Somaya Mason, Sydni Mason and Zojeilah Mason; and nephews: Sekour Mason, Sevaun Mason, Samir Mason and Safron Mason Jr.
She is also survived by aunts: Hazelyn Francis, Shelia Gordon and Mercelle Mason; uncles: Philbert Mason, Parry Mason and George Mason; brother-in-law, Garicka Tyree; sisters-in-law: Janice Mason, Nichelle Peters and Shenette Fellon-Mason; godchildren: Nya, Quincy and Arol Abel Jr.; special friends: Michael Nelson and Tracey Wells; as well as other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
The funeral service will be held on Friday, Feb. 9, at St. Paul’s Anglican Church. The viewing will begin at 9 a.m. followed by the service at 10 a.m. Interment will be at Kingshill Cemetery.
