Simona Felicien

The family of Simona Felicien, affectionately known as “Earline,” announces her death on Nov. 10.

She is survived by her mother, Catherine Brooks; father, William O’garro; sons: Clittus Wayne Lake, Claudius Etienne and Christopher Etienne; adopted son, Jackson Ovid; daughters: Crystal Felicien and Camisha Lespeare; and grandchildren: Gabriel Colon, Alinique Sage Joseph, Ava Marie Felicien, Kelon Etienne, Kehlani Etienne, Kelan Etienne, Kacey Etienne, Lyra Lake and Jovante Lespeare.

She is also survived by sisters: Suzanna Jean-Marie and Claudia Sawyer; brothers-in-law: Pastor Jones Jean-Marie and Ronald Sawyer; nieces: Rochelle Sawyer Harris, Vanna Sawyer and Vietalia Sawyer; nephews: Ronald Sawyer Jr. and Michael Sawyer; and aunts: Francis O’garro, Rosalie Eugene, Jacintha Prosper, Veronica Felicien, Lucy Felicien and Esther Howson.

Other survivors include uncles: Harold Felicien, Fenton Felicien, Ned Cassell, Noel O’garro and John O’garro; special cousins: Feona Greenaway, Kara Jeffers, Glenis Joseph, Mildred Chalmers and Julian O’garro; as well as other family and friends too numerous to mention.

The Home Going Service will be held on Saturday, Dec. 16, at Calvary Baptist Church in Altona. The viewing will be held from 9 to 10 a.m., with the service to follow at 10 a.m. Interment will be at Eastern Cemetery, Smith Bay.
