Sister of 2005 Murder Victim David Geiger Takes Her Own Life

Gail Geiger, the sister murder victim David Geiger, recently took her life on St. John. The V.I. Police Department released little information regarding the suicide.
It was unclear when Geiger, a resident of Estate Grunwald, committed suicide. A neighbor called police on Saturday, October 13, at 7:30 p.m. to report a strange odor coming from Geiger’s apartment.

“When officers arrived, they discovered the victim laying on her bed,” said VIPD spokesperson Monyka Johnigan.

The VIPD spokesperson would not discuss the condition in which the victim was found.

On October 29, 2005 Geiger’s brother, David Geiger, was found dead in the bedroom of his Estate Grunwald home, which had been set ablaze. Neighbors pulled his then 14-year-old son Nathan, who had been severely beaten, from the flames.

Renell Lettsome was convicted of second-degree murder in the case and is serving approximately 50 years in prison.

There was no information regarding a memorial service for Gail Geiger as of press time.
