Competitors celebrate after a victorious run
Get your running shoes out! It’s time to get this holiday season started right! The St. John Landsharks are hosting a fun filled 5K run on Thanksgiving Day, November 25.
Registration starts at 7:30 a.m. with the race starting at 8 a.m. Donations of non-perishable food items are appreciated. Meet at the Annaberg parking lot for the 5K looping course in the area of Maho/Francis/Leinster Bay areas.
Kids are welcome and they should drag their parents out for an hour in the morning.
The course is part road and part trail running, so runners should expect to get wet or muddy. But, that’s part of the fun, a little “XTERRA” for Thanksgiving morning. Fun Thanksgiving themed prizes and awards will handed out.
