St. John Man Steals Defibrillator; Arrested for Grand Larceny

A St. John man was arrested for removing an automated external defibrillator from the Marketplace, the V.I. Police Department reported.

On Tuesday, at approximately 3:57 a.m., a man entered the Marketplace, St. John, and removed an automated external defibrillator. Investigation revealed that the man was later identified as Tyran Jarvis, according to the police report.

The man was arrested on Thursday for grand larceny and transported to the Bureau of Corrections pending his advice of rights hearing, the police report stated.
