St. John Recovery Choir Presents Holiday Concert

The St. John Recovery Choir will host a free concert of holiday music in Frank Powell Park in Cruz Bay on Saturday evening, December 22.

The entertainment begins at 6:30 p.m. with performances by local church choirs, followed by the St. John Recovery Choir under the direction of Kristen Carmichael-Bowers.   Members of the All-Island Children’s Choir will join in for a rousing South African hymn to freedom, accompanied by Miss Ingrid on guitar.

At 7:45, the audience is invited to participate in a community carol sing, and at 8 p.m. The Love City Pandragons, St. John’s own youth steel band, will perform their energetic renditions of well-known tunes.  As a closing number, all of the groups and the audience will join together to sing “Joy to the World.”
