The V.I. Police Department on Friday arrested 43-year-old Dexter Teschiera, also known as Makurija Sakatu, charging him with unlawful sexual contact and third-degree assault, domestic violence.
Teschiera is accused of the unlawful sexual contact of a minor on May 26, and assaulting the same victim on Aug. 2.
According to police, Teschiera was jailed without bail in accordance with the territory’s domestic violence laws pending his advice of rights hearing.
