The St. Thomas Reformed Church (STRC) has hosted a summer camp on Magens Bay every summer for more than 40 years. For the safety and well-being of its camp family during the global pandemic, the church has decided to convert this year’s program to a virtual platform.

The free camp is beginning on Monday, July 20.

STRC Summer Camp will share a video to its Facebook page at 9 a.m. (AST) every weekday morning until Friday, July 31. Facebook: www.facebook.com/STRCsummercamp

The videos will also be posted to the St. Thomas Reformed Church’s YouTube Channel: www.youtube.com/channel/UCvFA8vUToP3W257eL8pf4pw

The daily videos will include Bible lessons, singing, storytime, games and arts & crafts. Activities are appropriate for children aged 5-13 years old, though younger children may be able to participate with adult supervision.

Campers can interact with camp staff live during the premiere of the video. The videos will be saved to the FB page/YouTube channel, and The St. Thomas Reformed Church encourages campers to revisit the video after it has premiered to enjoy each activity at their own pace.

Live Zoom Virtual Lunch Bunch – Join other campers and camp staff for a virtual lunch every day from noon to 1 p.m. (AST). Email summercamp@strchurch.org to request access to the Zoom meeting.
