The Virgin Islands Department of Education’s State Office of Special Education (SOSE) has announced the availability of copies of its FFY 2020 IDEA Part B Federal Grant Application for public review in both school districts over the next 60 days.
Comments will be accepted up to 30 days after the close of the public review period and may be submitted to SOSE Director Renee Charleswell Ph.D. via email at renee.charleswell@vide.vi or brought to the office between April 9 and May 9.
Copies of the grant application, which contains a tentative state budget, may be obtained from the offices of Special Education (state and district); the superintendent of schools; the Office of the Commissioner of Education in both school districts; the University of the Virgin Islands campuses; the Charles W. Turnbull Regional Library on St. Thomas; the Florence Williams Public Library in Christiansted, St. Croix; and the Julius E. Sprauve School on St. John.
