Steve Simon has lived on St. John for more than 25 years, and during that time, he has helped to put Love City on the international entertainment map with his annual St. John Blues Festival, his Jazz in the Moonlight concert series and, of course, his iconic Sunday afternoon jazz jam at The Beach Bar with his amazing band, the Jazz Islanders.
Steve Simon & The Jazz Islanders will be performing at 8 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 24, at The St. John School of the Arts, and 100 percent of the ticket proceeds will go to the school.
“One of the greatest joys of my life was being loved by an island, an island that embraced me, an island that held me close and an island that inspired my soul. St. John has filled my heart with joy for almost three decades, and I am honored to be able to come back and share my music with everyone again. Many of the original members of my band will be joining me on stage, and we all look forward to a magical evening of music as we honor our dedication and commitment to The St. John School of the Arts.
As I have always loved to say, the Jazz Islanders are the hottest band on the coolest island. See y’all on November 24th,” said Simon.
