A St. Thomas man was arrested for shooting another man during a fight at Emerald Beach Hotel, the V.I Police Department reported Tuesday.
A fight broke out between two men at Emerald Beach Hotel Monday. VIPD was contacted, and the man who was shot was taken to Schneider Regional Medical Center, according to the police report.
Osie Ferguson, 42, was arrested in the area of Oswald Harris Court Tuesday in connection with the shooting and charged with assault, possession of a dangerous weapon during a crime of violence, unlawful possession of a firearm, unlawful possession of ammunition, reckless endangerment, and disturbance of the peace, the report stated.
Bail was set at $200,000, and Ferguson was remanded to the Bureau of Corrections pending his advice of rights hearing, police said.
